This morning, when I was in train.
I had an hilarious experience.

I was reading Times magazine.
The guy beside me was not only looking but he practically READING my magazine.

When I turned the page his eyes also follow.
I wanted to laugh but I can only endure...mmm..
And when I get off the train near my uni he also get off..mm..

Now I know why, he must be one of the nerd from the same university.

This was the conversation between me and my friend. The lesson learnt, never open the door during summer. Else the insects that you couldn't even call the name will fly in. Just now I was fighting with one. It flew into my room and Kik~~~~KIK~~KIK...inside. It was worse than cockroaches maybe. So..kao peh..I was fighting with it, turn off all the lights but it still stick at my laptop. Throw a lot of things, slipper, books, notes, pencil..other than kao peh..it still stick there..

Finally, I throw my calculator on it and on the light near exit, it flew out..phew!~
I guess it was 蝉（セミ-Cicada） after I asked google.

Swimming Pool in Japan

Yesterday went to the swimming pool nearby my house, it costs 300 yen which is quite reasonable for Japan standard.　But we cannot shampoo here after swim..too bad..But the one in my uni can shower and shampoo, there is even a sauna room.

Swimming pool　in Japan is more strict than in Malaysia where u just jump into the pool with whatever you have even without swimming cap. Here, you need to equipped with swimming cap and cannot wear ANY accessories even earrings. The lockers here usually do not have changing room where everyone will just change in the locker area. This is why in fitness center in Malaysia sometimes we can see people just change in front of the locker.

We know that Japanese like to line-up, even the pool, they divide the pool into lanes for different purpose and you have to swim in the certain direction. The lanes are usually divided into fast speed, normal speed, low speed, free movement and for walking..yeah..WALKING, they walk in the pool.

The swimming suit for gals usually black, blue, gray and is one piece, at first I felt so awkward in my two piece red bikini and I faster go and buy the standard one. The guys here wear knee-length beach pants to swim..weird right?

The pool here usually is 1.4 meter or at most 1.5 meter, unlike in Malaysia we have 12ft pool ..argh...I miss the swimming pool in Malaysia.........

Shinjuku Nicho Me 新宿二丁目 A glimpse of Gay world

Yesterday went to Shinjuku Nicho Me (新宿二丁目 ) after dinner at Shinjuku. Dave, MIng and Begali said wanna go to gay bar and I thought they were joking.

At the end there we arrived at gays' paradise after lost our direction as usual. Most of the bars here are having business with their door close perhaps to give some privacy to their customer. Some welcome only Gay Guy only, some welcome normal guy, for some gals are welcomed and for some is only for girls (shinjuku nicho me is paradise for lesbian too). A lot of gays are walking on the streets, with very some time only you can see lesbians.

The first Gay bar we spotted had a poster claiming that they have more than 100 Guy Hostess for you to choose. They have ranking too. Refer to the website below for more information ^^ . I dun dare to take pictures because I scared I will be beat up if I did so.

There are shops pasting photos for gal hostess also. If you walk along the street you will see alot of shops with posters of their hostesses with ranking. Well, Kabuki-Cho歌舞伎町 is a another place for services perhaps for usual people.

There are few video shops selling A-series of video for gays. We entered on of the shop, some of the videos are SM, there was one with a guy tie a rope on the neck of another guy and some others are etc etc etc (imagine yourself). The starring character are mostly look like normal people most probably you will spot them on the streets, some look very young like high school boys. My friend said she saw a video with a fat guy picture on top with another guy help him to....urgh..Other than videos they sell other thing like underwear (maybe some are used). Well, we didn't stay long as I dun feel comfortable in the shop some more the shopkeeper was staring at us.

There is a very dark garden nearby, perhaps a lot of activity going on inside, well we didn't have guts to disturb them. It is only chapter one as Dave said next time we will drink in one of the bar there..OMG..I can't imagine. But I will try to snap some photos next time I visit the street again.

My TOEFL seems OK, wish I will get marks which will not disappoint me too much. I will be able to get the results after two weeks online.

Malaysia election ended, everyone in Malaysia is so hot for that. I even can feel it here. Everyone is wishing for a better tomorrow for Malaysia. I am surprise that the racist in Malaysia now is faded little by little. The passion of the anak bangsa, is just like 1957, everyone shouting Merdeka!Merdeka!!!!~~Everyone is longing for a change, regardless of the races!

Yesterday saw the first Sakura tree in Todai blossoms. Today I reminded myself to bring camera. Spring has come...

First snow in Tokyo

This is second time I see snow in my life, but this is the first time I see snow in Tokyo. Yahoo BB said it only snows one or two time in Tokyo every year. So, today I am lucky :D

When I woke up this morning, I was preparing for myself before going school as usual. When I pull the curtain, this scene surprised me..Am I wrong??It is snowing!!!!First time snowing in Tokyo,I was not sure what to wear?Should I bring umbrella?In the end I wore my thick winter jacket with umbrella in my hand.

Laundry During Winter

Before I came Japan, I was wondering how to do laundry during winter as the weather is cold.Now I know, first I will still hang the clothes at the balcony as the water is dripping.Amazingly..there are smokes come out from the clothes as I washed the clothes using warm water. The next day I will move the clothes into the room and hang under air con to let it dried by hot air..

Now I am wondering how to dry the clothes if it reaches minus degree, will the clothes turn into ice?

Cinema in Japan

See the price, watching movie is very expensive in Japan, 1700 yen ==RM51.1817874
To watch a movie in Malaysia is RM10 in big cities and we can even get RM6 for Wednesday.I still remember that I went movie almost every Wednesday while I was in Malaysia. Now watching movie has become a luxury.

"I am Legend" which I watched with my homestay family

Ａｋｉｈａｂａｒａ 秋葉原- Ｔown of Electronic Devices

Akihabara is best-known as one of the largest shopping areas on Earth for electronic, computer, anime, and otaku goods, including new and used items.

The electronics stuff sold here, many of them you cannot find in Malaysia. For
notebooks and PC, most of them using Japanese OS. Price wise, after converted to RM, some items might be the same, some might be cheaper.

The roads will be closed for the pedestrians during weekends. There are many otaku gather here every weekends and there are many cost-play in Akihabara. During my trip to purchase my notebook, I noticed there are many weird people in weird costumes. Also, there are young people singing on the streets and they attract many otaku to dance and sing along with them . The most interesting thing might be there are many girls dressed in Maid costumes, there are Maido Cafe where you can play games with those Maido (-the clean one like Cloth Scissors Stone).

Rush Hour ==Sardine Packed Train

I seldom experience the sardine packed train in Japan because my class start at 11am and usually I go home late. Only one time, it was so...X100 times crowded that I can smell the gal's hair smell in front of me (my nose was buried into her hair) and I can feel the guy standing beside me was breathing. I was barely able to balance myself with nothing for me to hold and I was standing on one foot due to no space.

Watch the clip below and you will be amazed by the scene. The 切符マン（the train station security)will push those people who still remain outside the door into the train. See it and you will believe it.

Things that hardly happen in Malaysia

I just came back from shopping for my food just now. In Malaysia, I will just stuff all my goods into my car and drive. I didn't appreciate it until I come here. I have to carry by my bare hand and walk home which is 15-20 minutes away. It means that I cannot buy too many things. Imagine, I even carried my 布団　（thick blanket) and pillows to train station and to walk home.

Another thing is they like to take off their shoes every where. I need to take off my shoes in my lab, the multipurpose hall in my dormitory when we were having party, and even in the changing room when I was shopping my clothes.

Here, you need not to buy tissue paper because you can get it anytime when you are walking on street, they will put the small promotion paper as the tissue cover so people will take it. I got three tissues for one day. They will thank you if you take more. Be careful, most f the time it is duck and chicken business or some HOT-line.


Weird things just happen everywhere in Japan, vending machines for Tabacco and drinks are every where..My friend says there are vending machine for women used panties in Shinjuku (新宿）, photos for the owner and their profiles are available too. I will find one day to take a pic there :P

Ya..here, the tong sampah is only available in the convenient shops. Most of the time, you need to carry your rubbish home to throw. But the streets are just amazingly clean..share more when I have some more culture shock next time ;)
