This is easy. Japan got alot of thing instant.
Just mix milk with the instant powder, then put in fridge for awhile..dah dahhhh~~~

Japanese class homework

We can write about what we think about the text we read, this is my first homework.
There are two passages,


＊＊曖昧な言葉＊＊

日本に来て、日本人の言葉はあいまいだということが分かりました。

留学生の中にも、日本語があいまいなため、色々な面白いことを体験した人がいます。
たとえば、友達はマックに行ったときに、「ケチャップ宜しいですか」と聞かれたので、「いいです」と答えたら、店員さんは「はい、分かりました」と言っ て、ケチャップをくれませんでした。「いいです」は、「イントネーションによって、二つの意味がありますね」と分かりました。」

　＊先生のコメント：このような場合に使う「いいです」は、普通「いりません」という意味です。もし、ほしい時は、「お願いします」をよく使います。

日本語の難しいところは、こと扱いによって、気持ちとか雰囲気が変わることです。

多くの場合、初級の日本語を勉強している留学生は、限られた日本語力でコミュニケーションをするときにしょう がなくて丁寧じゃなくなります。たとえば、「遠慮しないで、召し上がってください」と言われたら、あるひとは「じゃ、遠慮しないで、食べます。」と答えま す。そうしたら、日本人はショックを受けるかもしれない。

日本語の文法を勉強すると同時に、空気を読むのも大切なポイントです。コミュニケーションがうまくいくよう に、相手が使っている言葉に注意すれば、相手の気持ちや何を考えているのかを読めるのではないかと思っています。外国人ははっきりする場合が多いから、あ いまいな言葉になれるまでに、きっといろいろな苦労をしたでしょう。

ある人は、生きていくために働きます。ある人は、働くために生きています。

やりたい仕事をやれるのは、最高だと思いますが。多くの人にとって、これは現実的になかなか叶えない夢ですね。

Evening @Home

Brought the stuffs to kitchen, locked my key in room. Went to security to ask from temporary key, to take out the key from the room. -.-

Have started looking for job, attending career fairs. Students here wear suit (formal wear) even just to attend the briefings. The hiring system here is meant for Japanese, most of the time.

The process is as follows : career fair->entry sheet(resume)->Online test (very tough Japanese which makes no diffenrence if I took it in Arabic)->company briefing usually done in the company->group discussion(multiple times)->interview(multiple times)(finally)

The hiring now is for April 2010's graduates, very fast right? I am graduating oct 2010, that's why I also started hunting for job. Went to a career fair today, asked a HR in M***t company whether I can start applying job now even I graduate Oct. Arrogantly, she says'no...you have to wait for next year'. 'Then, I will wait from Oct 2010 to April 2011 doing nothing'. 'Is like that', 'The online test Japanese is tough' 'Please study for your Japanese'...really an asshole. They doesn't know good people will not wait, just like a chance.

Day 3 Osaka

It takes only 20 minutes from Kyoto to Osaka.
My Japanese friend, Ryou who is very kind, he brought us around for our Day3 Osaka trip.

The food here is nice, especially Takoyakiたこ焼き,　and Okonomi yaki.

The people here speaks in the train, sneeze in the train, and you will sure feel very free here, as if you can do anything and no one will care about you. Unlike in Tokyo, in a train which is full with people, where you can hardly move around, yet no single sound is made, other than 'sumimasen' when people are pleading for way to get off from the train.

The streets in Osaka is colourful and always busy. The banner here are mostly 3D, where at a sea food shop, a gigantic crab will be hanging outside, at sushi shop you will see a BIG fish balloon outside. Hardly see streets like this in other places in Japan.

A short trip, but fulfilling.

Kyoto trip Day 2

Kyoto trip Day 1

Invited by my friends from China, He jie for this trip just few days before the trip.
Other people who joined this trip are Xiao xiao, Yan jue and Zhao yu. They are very nice travel companion ^^

This is not the first time I have been to Kyoto but the feeling is different.
I have been here three years ago with MMU Japanese club during the one week homestay in Nagoya. Last time I did not speak alot of Japanese and we traveled by car.
Travel one your foot, you can appreciate it better.

This time to Kyoto, I felt the different of it between Tokyo. Kyoto is rather quiet place, they speak Japanese with different ascent than Tokyo. I like it when they say "Okini" rather than "Arigatou gozaimasu" in Tokyo. Not much sky scrapper here, the sky is wide and the air is fresh.

We've been to Kiyomizu Dera清水寺, Gion for first day.
For second day, we went to Arashi mountain嵐山, Kinkaku ji金閣寺, Kyoto imperial palace御苑, and Kyoto tower.

Take a small walk outside the dorm

There is a small park beside my dorm and the flowers there are really pretty. Now is already Autumn and the weather is truning cold.
