Some Glimpse of Todai

The first two pictures are taken using my hand phone Toshiba 911T. I subscribed to Softbank service which is free to call among Softbank users except for 9pm to 1am. It is amazing, much better than the "Friends and Family" plan in Malaysia. The handphone is in the package (0 yen)but the contract is two years.

This is the best hand phone among all those hand phones I have used before. My Nokia 8310 was with me almost four years and it can only sms and making call, I have never used any camera phone. The camera for this hand phone is 3M pix. I even use the GPS function to get the current location map and to check the 乗り換え(transition) of the train.

The train system is 1000x more complex than the Malaysia one where I have had hard time at first, where I lost my way all the time. Get the idea how complex it is by seeing the train map of Railways and Subways of Tokyo.

There are few campuses for University of Tokyo: I am staying in Komaba campus but all of my classes and my lab are in Hongo campus.

There are a lot of trees like this in my university. My friend says the trees will turn red in Autumn.

This is the main library. I have yet visit it because my student card is still in process.

The landmark for the university, Red Gate (赤門)
