It has been one week since I last written my part 1.
The next day,we continue our Penang trip journey. I knew that Pang is already tired but he still offered the great help to bring us to Sleeping Buddha(Wat Chaiyamangkalaran) ,Burmese Temple and Kuan Yin Temple.
Sleeping Buddha (Wat Chaiyamangkalaran)Wat Chaiyamangkalaran temple with its unique blend of Chinese, Thai and Burmese architectural designes was built in the 19th century. The Sleeping Buddha inside the temple lengthed 33 meters, the eyes and toenails are made of seashells.
Outside of Wat Chaiyamangkalaran with PangAfter that, we went to Burmese Temple which is 1km away from Wat Chaiyamangkalaran. The uniqueness of the temple is the way to pray. After you ask question to the Burmese Buddha, example: "Will I get the cute guy handphone number?". If the answer from the Buddha is yes, it will be very easy for you to lift the small statue with both hands, else you are unlikely to lift that. Amazing huh..
Kuan Yin TempleKuan Yin Temple is believed to be built in 1800 by the first group of Chinese immigrants who settled in Penang, the Kuan Yin Temple is one of Penang's oldest Chinese shrines, glowing joss sticks and the fragrant smell of incense fill the air of it because of the visits of numerous devotees everyday.
Before my family left, we went to eat the famous Cendol which is near Komtar. They sell at least 100 bowls per hour. Most of the people just stand there and eat. The laksa there is very famous too.
The trip ends here. I feel very happy with the visits of my family and the great help from my friend,Pang. They filled my remaining days in Malaysia with sweet memories.. \(^_^)/ Yeay!!~

the burmese temple is only 1km away from the sleeping Buddha is it ... i was wondering where was that temple :P
