Pantai Keracut Turtle Trip

Went Pantai Keracut Turtle Trip with Than Hsiang Youth friends last weekend, I couldn't believe it because this is the first time I NEED TO HIKE TO REACH THE SEA !!! When I tell my colleague before this, he said:"Gila ker? Do you mean the sea is on top of mountain?hahahaha..". (-_-)

We departed 3pm++ in the afternoon and start hiking around 4pm when we reached Pantai Keracut port. One group of people went to the camping site using a small boat with all the tents and heavy luggage. The rest of us start conquering the hill.

Lalala..At first we still can smile happily and with the international Cute 'V' Posture .

Just after 30 minutes, this is the result. An exhausted Ah Sum (aunty) look with unruled hair and 100% wet T-shirt. Alamak..you wun be able to see me in this look except in my room.

Finally.........We reached the camp site. It is around 10m away from the sea. This was the first time we build the tent our own, this is all my tent mates (no guy). We thought we will sleep in this tent at night.

Hungry and weared-out, but still can posting for the marvelous mee-hoon, our dinner. It was superb delicious, I have never had such a good taste mee hoon through out my life!!! All the food during the entire activities were amazingly delicious, thanks for the committee who prepared all these food with their heart and soul.

Around 7pm, there was a special surprise for us. Thanks to the Pusat Pemuliharaan Penyu at Pantai Keracut, We were able to see and free the baby turtles back to the sea. They are those rangers who protect the number of turtles from keep decreasing.

FUUuuYOH!!!!!BABY TURTLEs!!~~~~~~~ The center person in charge told us that a turtle starts to lay eggs at age of 30 (Human already have 3 children by this age then :p) The challenge for a female turtle to lay eggs which may turn into turtles is she need at least three male turtle to have XXX with her. waoo!!~

Before we freed the babies into the seas, we did a little praying session.Out of 1000 baby turtles, only ONE can survive due to pollution and the chance to be eaten,I wish the little baby in my hand will be the one coming back to the shore to lay egg after 30 years.

Beautiful sunset at Pantai Keracut. The best spot in Penang if you want to propose to your girl friend :)

At night, the tent turns out to be a sauna room, HOT!!!!! We brought out sleeping bags to bridge to sleep under the sky. It was very COOL to sleep with the twinkler of stars, the whisper of the breeze and the sea which was singing to put us into the sleep!!~KIMOCHI II!!~

Lying on the bridge, I took this moon view with 5 seconds shuttle with a tupperware acted as tripod. Hehe..start to feel interested in photo shooting. 4am in the morning..someone shouted:"Raining!!~~..Faster Back to the tent!!~" .%$#@*&&..Half-way sleeping, we moved back to the stuffy 'sauna room'. Luckily, it was only drizzling rain.

9am Sun shoot~Like those photo taken in some documentary TV Program :D

After tidied up and having breakfast, we took a group photo for all the participants for Pantai Keracut Turtle Trip.

Yeah..another round of torture. Again, it took 1 hour for us to hike back to the the port. We had a short sharing in Tan Hsiang temple after that and the trip ended.

It was a memorable trip for me, I made alot of new friends there. Wish to see them again for the coming Tan Hsiang activities..
